The board sequence is a chain, not a single prize
Inside the sequence a character moves around a board and collects as it goes: additions to a running figure, multipliers applied to that figure, and further turns from certain squares. It ends when the turns are used up or a square that halts it is reached. What arrives at the end is your stake on the entry segment worked through that accumulated chain.
The chance segment resolves in one of two directions
Landing it draws a card that either awards an amount immediately or grants a turn and moves play to the board. Yes. Only players who backed that segment in the window that just closed take part; everyone else watches it play out and rejoins at the next wheel round. There is no way to buy in once the segment has landed, which is precisely why the decision belongs in the countdown rather than in the moment of watching someone else start walking.
Is a longer walk around the board always better for me?
A longer sequence passes more squares and so collects more entries, but the entries vary and some squares stop the walk outright. Length is a rough guide rather than a promise, and the presentation naturally lingers on the long walks. The dependable statement is that the possible additions are listed in the paytable, which is the document that governs the round.
Why does my payout differ from another player on the same walk?
Because the result scales with what each player staked on the entry segment. The walk is shared and the multipliers collected along it are the same for everyone taking part; only the stakes differ. If two figures still look inconsistent after allowing for that, the round history in the account area is the record to check rather than anything on the studio screen.
